When you sign up as a creator or business, you provide us with information including your name, email address, city, social handles, and content niche. Businesses additionally provide their business name, type, and a description.
This information is stored securely and used solely to operate the platform. It is never sold to third parties.

This platform uses browser localStorage as its sole data store. There is no server-side storage, no cloud database, and no account system backed by external infrastructure. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete your account and all associated content.
We do not share your data with any third parties. We use no analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No cookies beyond those required for basic browser functionality are set.
Any UGC portfolio links, clip URLs, or profile photos you add are stored as-is in localStorage. We do not host media — you link to content hosted on third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). We have no control over and take no responsibility for content hosted on those platforms.
Hometown Creative Co is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Hometown Creative Co ("the Platform") is a matchmaking service connecting local content creators with local businesses for the purpose of user-generated content (UGC) collaborations. We facilitate introductions and communication — we are not a party to any collab agreement between creators and businesses.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Creators must have an active, publicly visible social media presence. Businesses must be legitimately operating at the time of registration.
Creators retain ownership of all content they produce. By participating in a collab, creators grant the business a non-exclusive license to repost and share the content for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Platform claims no ownership over any content created through collabs facilitated here.
All creator and business accounts require manual approval before being listed on the platform. We reserve the right to reject or remove any account that misrepresents itself, violates these terms, or degrades the quality and trust of the platform community.
The Platform is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the outcome of any collab, the quality of any creator or business, or the accuracy of any AI-generated match suggestions. Collab agreements are solely between the creator and business — the Platform has no liability for disputes arising from those arrangements.
We may suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@hometowncreativecollective.com.
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
